Support services to reach self sufficiency

  • Life Skills counselors for residents of  all supportive housing.

  • Child Advocate to work with children and families to help with school placement, homework, and emotional upsets of children in crisis at Landon Place and Casa Mia.

  • Case manager to assist former homeless individuals with disabilities to maintain self sufficiency and an independent life in permanent, supportive housing at SARAH'S Place ,  and all shelter and transitional Programs.

  • Housing Advocate to provide Tenant Training, financial skill development and one on one assistance for individuals and families to find and keep permanent housing.

  • Household donation coordination to gather and distribute free household items and furniture for families starting over.

  • Providing grants to families in need of rent, security deposits, and moving expense assistance.

  • Providing follow-up home visits and services to assist families to maintain permanent housing.

  • Providing transportation , childcare , food and personal care assistance as needed.

  • Providing assistance with obtaining employment and / or other income such as SSDI or Veterans benefits , if Qualified .
